GOMATHANU KAPADANDI !

  • SRI VEDADRI GOSALA, a unit of SRI YOGANANDA LAKSHMI NARASIMHA SWAMY SEVA TRUST REG NO 21/2006, is a voluntary non-profit organization formed with the sole purpose of saving and sheltering any number of SWADESHI GOMATHAS, the sign of Hindu religion, from going to slaughter houses for cruel killing to be converted to pieces of meat for local use and export to other markets.
  • Over 400+ orphan Gomathas are currently being sheltered at SRI VEDADRI GOSALA
  • VEDADRI is a holy pilgrim temple town, the seat of LORD YOGANANDA LAKSHMI NARASIMHA SWAMY, on the banks of river KRISHNA, in bushy forest area near JAGGAYYAPET, NTR (Krishna) district, Andhra Pradesh 80 KM from Vijayawada and 200 km from Hyderabad
  • We also run:
    • Nitya Annadana Satram for the visiting pilgrims with accommodation facilities
    • Veda Pathasala named as Sanathana gurukulam
    • Karmakandala bhavanam to perform last rites of departed souls

What we could accomplish so far

  • Since 8 years of inception in 2015, we were able to save and shelter around 400 cows.
  • Enabled a group of volunteers and 15+ staff members to take care of daily activities like feeding cows, taking cows out to graze, unloading tractors carrying hay, clean up, veterinary needs and other maintenance tasks.
  • Serving the local community in the village sharing organic cow milk, curd, ghee, gomutram, gomayam etc.
  • Providing గోపూజ facilities to visitors and local community
  • Generating Biogas (Gober) making gosala self-sustainable in terms of cooking gas

For the operation and maintenance of శ్రీ వేదాద్రి గోశాల and our staff to provide needed care with love to the cows, we need donations to support the following recurring needs: 

  • Pasture/Hay Expenditure
  • Transportation
  • Veterinary Expenses
  • Labor Cost
  • Building and Utility Expenditures

  • Annual maintenance costs towards adopted GOMATHA is $300
  • గోశాలలో గోదానం/గోదత్తత పూజ శాస్త్రోత్తముగ జరుపబడును
